Families and friends in WA are amongst those worried and desperate to know the whereabouts of their loved ones who are on holiday or volunteering in the areas hit by an earthquake where as many as 15 Westeren Australians are among the missing.
Kathmandu, Nepal experienced their worst disaster in over 80 years when a 7.8 magnitude earthquake killed over 3000 people, injuring double and an unknown number of people missing.
The earthquake has left injured citizens with no where to go as the city’s main hospital has reached capacity.
Buildings have been left in a rubble and the residents are filled with loss as they hold mass cremations for the people who were lost in the disaster.
The strong magnitude of the quake caused an avalanche on Mount Everest, where 18 climbers were found dead and many more are said to be trapped.
