Music // Little Sounds @ The Good Shepherd 

The Good Shepherd will play host to a 2 week ‘Little Sound’ residency. Little Sound? you ask. The event is a fundraiser that has been organised by Central Tafe’s Music Business students to raise money for them to get to BIG Sound 2015. They have put together a lineup of bands they manage that’ll knock your socks off AND there will also be a panel featuring Luke Rinaldi, Hayley-Jane Ayres and Jake Snell who will be letting you all know the industry secrets of “How To Get Booked.” Doors 6:30pm | 10pm.

Music // Skullcave @ Babushka Leederville 

You’ve got to love a fundraiser: Our Doom-gaze, Post-Metal, Grunge, Stoner-Rock buddies in Skullcave are rasing some cash to get their new EP mixed and mastered. This alone is enough to put down the $10 bottle of wine you would have bought to accompany you on the couch for the night. BUT wait, there’s more, you’ll also get a hefty dose of Foxes, Shit Narnia and The Worst. Friday night feels. Doors at 8pm | $10.


Theatre // The Epic @ The Blue Room Theatre 

Grab a glass of red after work at The Blue Room and strap yourself in for a an incredible performance by full-time story enthusiasts Finn O’Branagain and Scott Sandwich. The Epic will take you all the way back to ‘the beginning’ and your incredible hosts will “retell and unpick myths, epic texts and badass stories from around the globe.” You’ll get a shot of trojan horse, a glass of Gilgamesh and a pint of Vin Diesel.

Art // Artist lab with Julie Vulcan @ PICA

“This workshop is suitable for anyone who questions what they are doing and why.” Spiritual Saturday will see Sydney performance artist Julie Vulcan, take you on a personal and educational journey to articulate why your work is meaningful – to you and to the rest of the world. Take a load off and head into the creative bubble that is PICA and enjoy being vulnerable for once in your life.


Music // Dianas Single Launch @ The Bird

Diana’s new album, is almost finished and in celebration they are releasing a new single off the album ‘Good Enough Girl’ at The Bird on Saturday. You will also have some Saturday night party support from Rat Columns and Cold Meat. No better way to spend a Saturday.
