Thanks to the West Australian Symphony Orchestra,  you can experience the entire score of Lord of The Rings: Return of the King performed live by over 200 musicians, at the Riverside Theatre tonight at 7.30. Audiences will watch WASO and accompanying singers perform the Return of the King score, as the film is played on the big screen.

“Howard Shores Academy Award-winning score will be performed live to the epic motion picture by WASO, WASO Chorus and soloists” says WASO.

The conductor for WASO’s Lord of The Rings: Return of the King is world renowned Ludwig Wiki, who in 1999 set up the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra, dedicated to the performance of film scores and “in 2008, Ludwig Wicki conducted the world premiere of The Fellowship of the Ring as the first live performance of the original soundtrack.”

WASO’s Lord of The Rings: Return of the King performance has received positive reviews. And die-hard fans went all out.

Past performances of LOTR: Two Towers and Fellowship of the Ring also received rave reviews in 2013 and 2014, attended by over four thousand people. This will be the final installment.
