Last year more than 160,000 people flocked to the Beaufort Street Festival, which made it the largest single-day festival in WA.
Just yesterday, the program for the 2015 edition was unveiled, revealing the return of many popular attractions. This included The Queens Hotel’s Streetbound, which brings the best bits about Southbound in street form, and an expanded Gage Roads Brewing Co. Bar at the Barlee Street carpark.
Family-friendly amusements and areas will be more prolific at this year’s Festival, which includes children’s art activities, carnival attractions as well as the return of the wildly-popular dog show.
However it won’t just be a day out for the young ones, Festival co-director Paul Fletcher said in a statement that more restaurateurs and bar operators would be pushing their business out into the open air as Beaufort Street continued to evolve into “Perth’s best street to eat and drink”.
More than 10 pop-up areas from the likes of Five Bar, Clarences, Malt Supper Club and The Flying Scotsman are slated to appear at the 2015 Beaufort Street Festival.
The Beaufort Street Festival runs 12pm-9pm on November 14 on Beaufort Street, Mt. Lawley. For more details, check out their website.
