Ahh, nothing like a midweek Mojos sesh, particularly when you’ve got some great bands + it’s going to a good cause! Aborted Tortoise, Zyklus, The Reptilians, Cigars of the Pharaoh and Joe Bludge of the Painkillers will be hitting the stage to raise money to defend our great WA forests. $5 entry and doors at 8pm.

Apart from bringing up memories of high school, Staff Room is a cool art showcase at the Free Range Gallery which focuses on the different approaches to drawing as a concept. The exhibit is also open from 10am-5pm Saturday and Sunday.

Oh my! The Dianas will be putting on one last Perth show at the Bird before they take a well deserved break. Supporting the power trio is Leure and The Body Boys and all the money will be going to their east coast tour in November. $5 at the door and doors at 8pm.

Photobomb is back again, which means 5 artists with 2 hours to give their all for the votes of the general public. Awesome! This time talented artists Smij, Liam Dee Art, Shlives, Stale Kale and James Giddy Artist will be battling it out, with the sounds of The Drools, The Kramers, Mugwump and The Wheelers of Oz soundtracking the proceedings. Doors at 8pm.

Promixity Festival will be rightfully kickin’ off at AGWA this Saturday with a big party! Toastface Grillah and Volstead Union are helping with the food and bevvies so you know it’s gonna be ace, presale tickets are $15 ($20 on the door) and things start at 6:30pm.

Ooooo! Get out yer skeletons and get an uber to spook town because it’s Halloween! The Bird is sharing the enthusiasm with a lil shindig, featuring the musical talents of Sex Panther, Hootenanny, Abacaxuva and the dj skillz of members of Hamjam and Pond. Spooks begin at 8pm.

Woah this a pretty sweet concept, silent horror film ‘Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (1992)’ will be playing at the Luna with a live score by Viola Dana! Tickets are $30 for standard or $20 for students. Things kick off at 7pm.
